Dr. Rahul Deo was born and raised in Canada and earned his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College and PhD in Molecular Biophysics from the Rockefeller University as part of the Tri-Institutional MD-PhD Program. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Cardiology Fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He then conducted postdoctoral research in human genetics and computational biology at Harvard Medical School. He has been an Associate Professor in the Departments of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco and at Harvard Medical School, and most recently was an Associate Physician in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Deo is a pioneer in the application of artificial intelligence to the practice of medicine. He co-founded Atman Health driven by a desire to bring these advances out of academia to benefit patients. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiology.
